You look back at your mates and think to yourself "This is AWESOME" You look back at your cameraman and he gives you the biggest geek (smile) you've ever seen because he already knows what you will shortly ...

You're about to experience one of the most exhilarating moments of your life! The pure  adrenalin rush as you freefall from 14,000FT reaching terminal velocity - speeds in excess of 200kms per hour. The most powerful feeling of flying is like no other!

After experiencing the longest freefall available in Australia your parachute opens and it all goes quiet. You're absorbed by the beauty of the Hunter Valley and Newcastle Coastline that surrounds you. Guided by you, your Tandem Master pulls out some radical 360 turns or perhaps you've asked him for a gentler parachute ride back to earth. After 5-7 minutes you've landed right in front of the Drop Zone where your friends and family cheer in excitement as they too have enjoyed watching your experience and with the biggest grin on your face, all you want to know is.... "Can I go again?"

Dedicated to giving you one of the best experiences of your life. Our team of highly experienced and professional instructors are all qualified by the Australian Parachute Federation (APF). We are a local team who are very proud of the service we offer and of our excellent safety record. We use the most modern equipment and aircraft available.

Our professional team of cameraman can capture the whole experience and once completing your Tandem Skydive your footage is digitally edited to DVD and available for you to watch on our BIG screen projector with your friends and family. If you've also chosen STILL Photographs these will be provided to you on a separate disc with your DVD which you take home with you on the day and all of this is completed approximately 20 minutes from after you land!

We take off and land our parachutes at Maitland Airport unless you've chosen to 'JUMP the BEACH' and land at Stockton Beach, Newcastle.

 

Tandem Skydiving is the most current and innovative method of introducing first time jumpers into the world of skydiving.

Starting with a 15-20 minute briefing on exiting the aircraft, freefall body position, and landing techniques by a qualified instructor. You are then fitted with a jumpsuit, harness and goggles and taken with your instructor, wearing his dual parachute system, to the plane.

The plan ride to 14,000FT takes approximately 15 minutes during which time you will be astounded by the stunning scenery of the Hunter Valley and Newcastle Coastline easily visible through the large perspex door and passenger windows that our new Aircraft VH-JAV has to offer.

14,000FT provides you with MAXIMUM FREE FALL and is the highest Tandem Skydive available in Australia.

  • Minimum age for Tandem Skydive is 14 years. Persons under 18 must have guardian consent
  • Additional surcharges apply for passengers > 100kg. Maximum weight limit is 120kg

  • Wearing comfortable clothing and sensible shoes i.e. Sneakers
  • Please allow 3-4 hours for the whole experience, skydiving is an outdoor activity and we can’t guarantee the weather to be on our side all the time. We have great facilities and are a short drive to town where there are plenty of cafes and restaurants to satisfy your appetite.
